I started working at Philips Research after graduation in 2010. One of the disavantages of working in a corporate research environment is that you can’t really show any of what you’re doing until launch. But of course the point is that there will be a time you can. Below you can find one of the first products we launched using 3D printing in 2019. Something I started experimenting with in 2012. Awesome 🙂
In May 2019 we launched Philips MyCreation. An online service enabling people to design their own lighting fixture which we will 3d-print on-demand and deliver it to your home. It was launched as a pilot in Benelux and now available in many more countries. Check it out
